Homecare Manager

About the Role:

We are privileged to have partnered with Ireland’s leading provider of therapeutic residential care for children. Our client provides specialist therapeutic residential services for young people with complex, emotional and behavioural needs who cannot be adequately cared for in a mainstream setting.

Due to expansion and growth, Lincoln Healthcare are looking to recruit Residential Children’s Home Managers to lead brand-new purpose-built homes in the south Monaghan and Cavan region.
We are looking for a Children’s Home Manager who wants to join a smaller provider, who can whole heartedly believe in the organisations mission, but also that you are part of their future growth.
We would love to speak with experienced Manager however, We are happy to speak with Deputy Manager’s with Children’s residential experience who are eager to progress.
It’s incredibly refreshing to hear the passion that my client feels for the children they support. They are still a small provider who plan to open more homes in 2022. However, that growth will always ensure that their services, never accommodate no more than four children in each home.

Your Experience:

The successful candidate will have the following profile:
• Min level 8 Degree in Social Care (and social work) & 5 years’ experience of working in a social care grade in childcare OR Level 7 & Management qualification and 5 years’ experience
• Previous experience in a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager role in a Residential Children’s Care Setting
• Any relevant or transferrable skills, such as First Aid trained
• Knowledge of the Children Act & Children’s Homes Regulations
• Understanding and knowledge of Therapeutic Approach to Childcare
